Safetop MAXIROLL 80806 is a 6 metre retractable cable fall arrester for professional fall protection. The galvanised steel cable automatically follows the user's movement while remaining under light tension. In the event of a fall, the internal braking mechanism quickly locks the cable.

The device is suitable for both vertical and horizontal applications. Its compact thermoplastic housing, carrying handle and swivelling lower connector make MAXIROLL a practical solution for construction, industrial maintenance and other work at height.

Cable guide reduces wear at the housing

The spring guide at the MAXIROLL cable outlet guides the steel cable as it extends and retracts. This prevents the cable from continuously rubbing directly against the edge of the housing, helping reduce unnecessary wear on both the cable and the outlet during normal use.

Inspection and service at Protecton Oy Turku

The device must be visually inspected before every use. Pay particular attention to the cable, housing, connectors, markings and the correct operation of the retraction and locking mechanisms.

MAXIROLL servicing is carried out at Protecton Oy's Turku service facility. Send the unit to Turku for servicing, where the device is opened, inspected and any necessary worn or damaged components are replaced.

If the inspection reveals a repair requirement that is significantly more extensive than normal servicing, Protecton service will contact the customer and provide a cost estimate before proceeding with the repair.

A device that has arrested a fall, is damaged or does not operate correctly must be withdrawn from service and inspected before being used again.
