Safetop MAXIROLL 10 m retractable cable fall arrester for vertical and horizontal use

Safetop MAXIROLL 80810 is a 10 metre retractable cable fall arrester for professional fall protection. The galvanised steel cable automatically retracts as the user moves and locks rapidly in the event of a fall.

The 10 metre working length is suitable for construction, scaffolding, industrial maintenance and steel structures where a wider working range than the 6 metre model is required.

Key features

• For vertical and horizontal use
• 10 m galvanised steel cable
• 4.8 mm cable diameter
• Maximum user weight 120 kg
• Swivelling lower connector helps prevent cable twisting
• Durable thermoplastic housing
• Integrated carrying handle
• Spring cable guide reduces rubbing and wear at the housing outlet

Cable guide reduces wear

The spring guide directs the cable as it moves in and out of the housing. This reduces direct rubbing between the steel cable and the edge of the housing, helping minimise unnecessary wear.

Inspection and service at Protecton Oy Turku

Before every use, inspect the cable, housing, connectors, markings and the operation of the retraction and locking mechanisms.

MAXIROLL servicing is carried out at Protecton Oy's Turku service facility. Send the device to Turku, where the unit is opened, inspected and any necessary worn or damaged components are replaced.

If the repair requirement is more extensive than normal servicing and the cost is unusually high, Protecton service will contact the customer and provide a cost estimate before continuing the repair.

A device that has arrested a fall or does not operate correctly must be withdrawn from use and inspected.
