The PROTEKT AT150 is a permanent anchorage point for installation on steel or concrete structures. Made from die-cast aluminium alloy, this EN 795:2012 Type A anchor device provides a connection point for a single-user fall protection system in industrial, construction and building maintenance applications.

Applications
The AT150 is suitable for industrial facilities, maintenance work, construction and building services applications requiring a permanent anchorage point on a load-bearing steel or concrete structure. Fall protection equipment is connected to the point using an EN 362 connector.
The product is intended for the personal fall protection of one user. It must not be used for lifting loads or as a multi-user anchorage point.

Safety and compliance
The AT150 complies with EN 795:2012 Type A and provides a minimum strength of 12 kN in the permitted load directions. When used as part of a fall arrest system, the maximum dynamic force acting on the user must be limited to 6 kN by a compatible system.
The strength of the supporting structure and suitability of the installation method must be verified by calculation before installation. Both the AT150 instructions and the fastener manufacturer’s instructions must be followed. The manufacturer’s instructions do not approve installation on timber or glued-laminated timber.

Inspection and service life
The anchorage point, fasteners, markings and any signs of corrosion or damage must be checked before use. A competent person must perform a periodic inspection at least every 12 months. The product must be withdrawn from use immediately if it has been involved in arresting a fall or if there is any doubt about its reliability. It has no predetermined maximum service life, but operating conditions, corrosion, damage and inspection results may require its withdrawal from service.
