The Probelt TM9-N is a portable aluminium safety tripod designed for anchoring fall protection equipment, personnel rescue devices and material-handling equipment. Its three telescopic legs provide height adjustment, while the head incorporates three anchorage points and three bearing-mounted polyamide rollers for guiding working ropes.

Applications

The TM9-N is suitable as a portable anchorage device above manholes, tanks, shafts and other confined spaces. Compatible RUP lifting and lowering devices and CRW rescue or fall protection devices can be installed using their specified mounting accessories. Material handling requires an appropriate device and a UTB universal mounting bracket.

Safety and compliance

The tripod complies with EN 795:2012 Type B and TS 16415:2013 Type B and carries the CE 0082 marking. Its three anchorage points may support up to three users simultaneously, with only one user connected to each point. In fall arrest applications, the system must include a component that limits the dynamic force applied to the user to no more than 6 kN. A periodic inspection is required at intervals of no more than 12 months.
