The PROTEKT CRW 200 combines a retractable fall arrester and a manually operated rescue winch in one device. Designed for the vertical protection of one person, it features a 15-metre galvanised steel cable and an automatic braking system for controlled lifting or lowering during a planned rescue operation.

Applications

The CRW 200 is suitable for vertical fall protection and planned rescue applications in industrial work, maintenance and other work-at-height environments. It can be suspended from a suitable structural anchor point or installed on a compatible safety tripod using the appropriate mounting bracket. The fall-arrest and rescue-winch functions are used separately, one function at a time.

Safety and compliance

The CRW 200 is CE-marked personal protective equipment conforming to EN 360:2023 and EN 1496:2017 class B. It is intended for vertical use and must not be used where there is a risk of falling over a sharp edge. The lifting and lowering function is intended solely for rescuing a person and must not be used for lifting materials. Selection, installation, inspection and use must follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
