Applications

Load capacity and thermal protection
The maximum permitted load depends on whether the cable is fully wound or completely unwound. With the cable fully wound, the maximum load is 1200 W at 230 V or 3000 W at 400 V. When completely unwound, the corresponding values are 3600 W at 230 V and 9000 W at 400 V. The stated maximum load applies to the combined load of all equipment connected to the reel.
If the thermal cut-out trips, disconnect the load and allow the reel to cool before resetting the protection device. Completely unwinding the cable improves cooling and permits the higher stated load capacity.
