Its aluminium toe cap, flexible non-metallic PS penetration protection, ESD properties and stabilising support structures also suit building finishing, industrial maintenance, logistics and installation work.

Fit and comfort

The BOA® Fit System tightens the boot evenly around the foot and allows quick, precise adjustment throughout the working day. The L+1 fastening system uses a 115 cm cable. The manufacturer's fit designation is Fit 11.

Ankle-supporting construction: Dynamic HC Control holds the heel in the correct position and helps control lateral foot movement. StabilActive supports the heel bone, instep and tarsal joints while stabilising each step on uneven working surfaces.

The 3D Air Circulation lining promotes airflow around the foot. The removable Five 4 Fit insole is anatomically shaped, breathable and absorbent. Its multilayer construction and memory-foam heel cushion soften each step on hard floors.

The Dualmicro anti-slip lining helps hold the foot in place inside the boot. The manufacturer states that its double microfibre layer withstands up to 200,000 abrasion cycles.

Protective properties

• S3S: the boot has a 200 J aluminium toe cap, PS penetration protection, a closed heel area, antistatic properties, heel energy absorption, an upper that limits water penetration and absorption, and a cleated outsole.
• PS: the non-metallic penetration-resistant insert is tested using a 3.0 mm truncated cone nail. The manufacturer states penetration resistance exceeding 1,100 N.
• FO and SR: the outsole resists the effects of fuel oil, and its slip resistance has passed the additional SR test under EN ISO 20345:2022.
• ESD: the sole construction helps discharge accumulated static electricity in a controlled manner. This property helps protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge.
