Safetop 34603 is an ABEK1P3 R D combined filter for compatible Safetop respirators. It is designed for professional work environments where organic and inorganic gases or vapours, acid gases, ammonia and particles may be present. When the work area may involve several gas types as well as dust or aerosols, an ABEK1P3 filter offers broader filter coverage than a filter limited to a single gas class.

Applications

The filter is suitable for painting and varnishing, industrial maintenance, chemical handling, cleaning work and tasks where both gases or vapours and dust or particles may be present. If the exact gas mix at the worksite is not fully clear, an ABEK filter provides broader coverage than a filter selected for only one gas class. Filter selection must still always be confirmed through workplace risk assessment and contaminant concentration data.

Safety and Compliance

This product is a combined filter compliant with EN 14387. The user instructions identify the filter type as ABEK1P3 R D. The filters do not supply oxygen and must not be used in oxygen-deficient atmospheres, for carbon monoxide, firefighting or closed poorly ventilated spaces. Filters must always be used as two identical filters with a compatible Safetop mask.
