HLP700 safety post for wood-based OSB construction board
The HLP700 is a stainless steel anchor post / safety post for connecting fall protection equipment. The product is designed to be fixed to a suitable wood-based OSB construction board, not directly to sheet metal roofing, thin metal sheet, or other metal panels.
Correct application
The HLP700 is intended for locations where the fixing substrate is an OSB board that meets the manufacturer’s requirements. OSB is a wood-based structural board commonly used in roof, wall, and support structures. According to the manufacturer, the board thickness must be greater than 12 mm.
Clear limitations
- Not intended for direct installation onto sheet metal roofing.

Installation principle
According to the manufacturer’s instructions, the HLP700 is fixed to OSB board using 32 pcs JT3-ST-2-6.0 x 35 screws. The screws are tightened with a TORX TX25 bit. When assembling the post, the M16 nut is tightened with a 24 mm torque wrench to more than 50 Nm.

The HLP700 is an anchor device compliant with EN 795:2012 Type A and CEN/TS 16415:2013. The product must only be used on the fixing substrate specified by the manufacturer and as part of a suitable workplace fall protection system.
