The Protekt CRW310 is a combined device featuring a 25-metre self-retracting steel cable and a manually operated rescue lifting function. Designed for the vertical fall protection and evacuation of one person, it is suitable for confined spaces such as tanks, wells, silos and service shafts.

Applications

The CRW310 is suitable for fall protection and planned rescue operations in confined spaces, including tanks, wells, silos and maintenance shafts. Installation on a tripod requires a compatible mounting bracket, and some configurations also require a separate pulley.

Safety and compliance

The device complies with EN 360:2023 and EN 1496:2017 Class B. The retractable fall arrester and rescue winch are separate operating modes and cannot be used simultaneously. The lifting and lowering function is intended solely for rescuing a person and must not be used for handling loads. According to the manufacturer's instructions, the lowering function is limited to a maximum distance of 2 metres.

The device must only be used by trained and competent personnel as part of a planned fall protection and rescue system. Use a compatible EN 361 full-body harness or, for rescue applications, an EN 1497 rescue harness as specified by the manufacturer. Inspect the device before use and arrange periodic servicing at the intervals defined by the manufacturer.
