PROTEKT CR 210 retractable fall arrester 15 m

The PROTEKT CR 210 is a retractable fall arrester designed for vertical work. It combines a 15-metre galvanised steel cable with a durable steel casing, allowing the user to move in relation to an overhead anchorage point. If the cable is pulled out rapidly, the automatic braking mechanism locks and arrests the fall. The device is intended for one person with a working load of 50–140 kg.

Applications

The CR 210 is suitable for vertical work on construction sites and in industrial maintenance and installation tasks where the device can be anchored above the user. The retractable cable follows the user’s movement and provides mobility in relation to the anchorage point.

Safety and compliance

The retractable fall arrester complies with EN 360:2023 and is CE marked as personal protective equipment. It must be used with an EN 361 full-body harness. The cable connector is attached to an A-marked front or rear fall arrest point on the harness, while the device mechanism is connected to an overhead anchorage point.

The device is intended for vertical use and must not be loaded over an edge. The maximum permitted cable angle from vertical is 40°. The device must be inspected before every use and withdrawn from service after arresting a fall. A periodic inspection is required at least once every 12 months of use in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
