PROTEKT CR 210 Retractable Type Fall Arrester, 10 m

The PROTEKT CR 210 is a retractable type fall arrester designed for vertical work at height. It allows the user to move in relation to an overhead anchor point while the 10-metre steel cable extends and retracts automatically. In the event of a fall, the braking mechanism locks the cable. Its steel housing and galvanised steel cable are designed for demanding professional use.

Applications

The CR 210 is suitable for vertical work at height in applications such as industrial maintenance, installation work and construction. The device is installed above the user, and the cable connector is attached to an A-marked front or rear attachment point on an EN 361 compliant full body harness. The device is not intended for use where the cable is loaded over an edge.

Safety and compliance

The CR 210 complies with EN 360:2023 and is CE marked as personal protective equipment. It is intended for one user only. The maximum permitted cable deviation from the vertical is 40°. The device and its retracting and braking mechanisms must be inspected before each use. A periodic inspection must be completed at least every 12 months of use in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
