The Probelt CR210 is a retractable fall arrester designed for vertical work at height. Its automatically retracting 15-metre steel wire rope provides an extended working range for tall structures, shafts and similar locations. The metal housing protects the internal retraction, braking and energy-absorbing mechanism in demanding professional use.

Applications

The CR210 is suitable for vertical work on tall structures and in other locations requiring an extended working range below an anchorage point positioned above the user. It is intended for one user weighing between 50 and 140 kg and must be used with an EN 361 compliant safety harness.

Safety and compliance

The retractable fall arrester complies with EN 360:2023 and carries the CE 0082 marking. It must be attached to an anchorage point above the user with a minimum static strength of 12 kN. The maximum permitted wire rope deviation from the vertical is 40 degrees. The device must not be used with the wire rope loaded over an edge and is not suitable for use on sloping surfaces. It must be checked before every use and periodically inspected at intervals of no more than 12 months in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
