Protekt AZ023 AL Safety Hook, 56 mm Opening | Aluminium
The Protekt AZ023 AL is an aluminium anchoring hook equipped with an automatic EasyHook Open locking gate. Its 56 mm opening is designed for connecting compatible lanyards, energy absorbers and other components of a personal fall protection system to a suitable structure or anchorage point.

Applications
The AZ023 can be used as a connector in a compatible fall protection system. Compatibility between the hook, anchorage point and other PPE components must be verified before use.
Material selection
The AZ023 has an aluminium body. Aluminium construction does not in itself prohibit its use on construction sites or in industrial environments. However, the workplace risk assessment, operating conditions and any site-specific material requirements must be considered. Where a steel connector is required, the Protekt AZ022 with a 55 mm opening is an alternative.
Safety and compliance
The AZ023 is an EN 362:2004 Class A PPE connector. According to the manufacturer’s EU Declaration of Conformity, it complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/425. The hook must only be used for its intended purpose and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
