ProBelt 622NE Fall Arrest Lanyard
The ProBelt 622NE is a single-leg elasticated lanyard designed for work in mobile elevating work platforms. It features an integrated energy absorber and a steel hook with a large 53 mm gate opening. The retracting construction keeps the lanyard compact during movement, while its total length including connectors is limited to 2 metres.

Applications
The lanyard is suitable for work in mobile elevating work platforms when its use is permitted by the lift manufacturer’s instructions, the workplace risk assessment and the selected fall protection system. It is connected to a designated fall arrest attachment point on an EN 361 full-body harness and to a suitable anchorage point.
Safety and compliance
The energy absorber of the ProBelt 622NE complies with EN 355:2002. The user manual requires connectors compliant with EN 362. The combined length of the energy absorber, lanyard and connectors must not exceed 2 metres.
The user manual specifies a minimum clearance of 6.2 m below the user for the least favourable illustrated anchoring arrangement. The actual required clearance depends on the position of the anchorage point and the other system components and must be determined before use.

Inspection and service life
The lanyard, energy absorber, stitching, loops and connectors must be checked before every use. A competent person must perform a periodic inspection at least every 12 months and record it on the product identity card. The product must be withdrawn from use immediately if it has arrested a fall, fails an inspection or there is any doubt about its condition. Its maximum lifespan is 10 years from the date of manufacture, although usage intensity and environmental conditions may shorten it.
