The updated 2025 Petzl PIXA is a durable professional headlamp designed for industrial maintenance, installation work and demanding construction-site conditions. With the included AAA batteries, it delivers up to 450 lumens in BOOST mode. Wide, mixed and focused beams provide suitable lighting for close-range work, movement and inspecting objects at a distance.

Applications

The PIXA is suitable for industrial maintenance, machinery inspections, installation work, construction sites and other professional tasks requiring durable and easy-to-operate hands-free lighting. This headlamp must not be used in a potentially explosive atmosphere.

Petzl Helmet Compatibility and Mounting

The included SLOT ADAPT plate is designed for slotted Petzl professional helmets, including the VERTEX, VERTEX VENT, STRATO and STRATO VENT ranges. Remove the lamp from the headband mounting plate, insert the SLOT ADAPT into the helmet slot until it locks into place, and attach the lamp to the plate. The tilt angle remains adjustable after installation.

Mounting on Other Helmet Brands

• Helmet with a compatible slot: SLOT ADAPT can also be used with another manufacturer's compatible helmet slot. Compatibility of the slot and any adhesive locking component must be confirmed with the helmet manufacturer.
• Helmet without a compatible slot: use the separately available Petzl HELMET ADAPT adhesive plate, reference E073AB00. It is compatible with PIXA headlamps from 2025 onwards.
• Mounting without an adhesive plate: the optional RUBBER EX headband, reference E130BA00, fits around a variety of industrial helmets.

Install the adhesive plate on a clean, dry and suitable helmet surface in accordance with the accessory instructions. Always verify compatibility with the helmet manufacturer before attaching an adhesive accessory or modifying a non-Petzl helmet. Do not drill mounting holes into the helmet.

Power Source and HYBRID CONCEPT

The PIXA is supplied with three AAA/LR03 batteries. Its HYBRID CONCEPT design also accepts the separately available Petzl CORE rechargeable battery. The lamp automatically detects the power source and adjusts its performance. With a CORE battery, BOOST output increases to 600 lumens with a range of up to 90 metres.
