Lightweight and ergonomic fall-arrest and work-positioning harness for professional use
Petzl VOLT LIGHT European Version is a lightweight full-body harness designed for work at height, particularly on towers and metal structures. It combines fall arrest, work positioning and freedom of movement. FAST opening buckles make the harness quick to put on, DOUBLEBACK adjustment buckles allow precise fitting, and padded contact areas improve comfort during extended use.

Ergonomic construction for extended wear
The shoulder straps are widely spaced to reduce neck chafing. Contoured padding and breathable lining cover the shoulder straps, waistbelt and leg loops. The semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide support during work positioning, while the leg-loop padding can be repositioned for improved fit and comfort.
Quick fitting and easy adjustment
The waistbelt, sternal section and leg loops are equipped with FAST opening buckles, allowing the harness to be put on and removed without losing the existing adjustment. DOUBLEBACK buckles provide precise adjustment of the shoulder straps and waistbelt. Anti-slip components help maintain the selected adjustment throughout the workday.
Attachment points
The sternal fall-arrest attachment consists of two loops marked A/2, which must always be used together. The dorsal attachment point is designed for fall arrest. Both lateral waistbelt attachment points must be used together with a work-positioning lanyard. The rear waistbelt attachment point is intended only for restraint systems that prevent the user from entering an area where a fall is possible.

Safety and inspection
A fall-arrest system may only be connected to the EN 361 attachment points marked A. The lateral work-positioning attachment points must not be used for fall arrest.
The harness must be inspected before every use, and the manufacturer recommends a detailed inspection by a competent person at least once every 12 months, depending on working conditions and applicable regulations.
The lanyard parking points are intended only for temporarily storing unused lanyard connectors. In the event of a fall, the parking system releases the connector so that it does not interfere with deployment of the energy absorber. The lanyard parking system is not a fall-arrest attachment point.
