The PROTEKT AT401 is a Type A anchor point designed for permanent installation on a roof structure as part of a personal fall protection system for one user. Its angled construction allows the anchor point to be installed beneath roof tiles while leaving the attachment opening accessible above the roof surface.

Applications
The AT401 is suitable as an anchor point for personal fall protection systems used during inspection, maintenance and servicing work on tiled roofs. It is permanently attached to a load-bearing structure with adequate strength. The position of the anchor point, the strength of the supporting structure and the compatibility of the complete system must be determined for each installation.
Fixing to different structures
- Tiled roof and wooden structure: 3 stainless steel or galvanised 8 × 45 mm wood screws
- Concrete structure: chemical or mechanical anchor with a tensile strength greater than 12 kN
- Minimum concrete compressive strength: 25 MPa
- Steel structure: bolted connection with a minimum strength equivalent to M12-A2-70
- Bolted connections require washers and self-locking nuts or locknuts
- All fixing components must be corrosion protected or made from stainless materials
Safety and compliance
According to the manufacturer's documentation, the AT401 is a Type A anchor device in accordance with PN-EN 795. It is intended for one user at a time as part of a personal fall protection system. The installation and the suitability of the supporting structure must be verified by a competent person. In accordance with PN-EN 365, the device must be inspected at intervals of no more than 12 months.
