Kratos HELIXON-S 15 m wire-rope fall arrester
The Kratos Safety HELIXON-S FA2040215 is a professional retractable fall arrester fitted with a 15 m galvanised steel wire rope. Its HV approval allows both horizontal and vertical use. The device is also sharp-edge tested to PPE-R/11.060 and has a maximum user weight of 140 kg.

Durable and inspectable construction
The casing is manufactured from polyamide 6 reinforced with 30% glass fibre to protect the internal mechanism in demanding worksite conditions. A carrying handle facilitates transport, while the removable inspection panel provides access to the locking mechanism without fully dismantling the casing. Its robust construction and maintenance according to the manufacturer's instructions support a long service life.
Applications
The HELIXON-S is suitable for use as part of a compatible fall-protection system in roofing, construction, industrial and maintenance work. Its HV and sharp-edge approvals support horizontal applications where the wire rope may pass close to a structural edge. The product is sharp-edge tested but does not include a separate physical corner protector.
Annual inspection
The fall arrester must undergo a periodic inspection at least once every 12 months according to the manufacturer's instructions. The inspection may be carried out by a competent person familiar with the product and holding any authorisation required by the manufacturer or importer.
