Breathable safety shoe with advanced cushioning for hard surfaces

When a workplace risk assessment requires safety footwear, the shoe must provide protection while remaining comfortable during walking and prolonged standing. Mabloo BOA® combines soft cushioning, a high-grip outsole and stabilising support for physical work.

The Sixton Mabloo BOA® is a low-cut safety shoe certified to EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 S3S. The BOA® Fit System secures the shoe around the foot, while the heel and midfoot support structures stabilise each step.

Fit and comfort

The BOA® closure distributes tension around the foot for a secure fit. Dynamic HC Control holds the heel in position, while StabilActive supports the heel bone, instep and joints of the foot. These structures reduce unwanted movement inside the shoe and support controlled steps.

The breathable 3D Green Air lining and QRS02 Green insole help move moisture away from the foot. Open-cell foam in the insole absorbs impacts, while the flexible non-metallic PS penetration insert allows the sole to flex with the foot.

Protection features

• S3S: the shoe has a toe cap tested against impact and compression, a closed heel area, heel energy absorption, a water-repellent upper and non-metallic PS penetration protection. The PS insert is tested with a 3.0 mm nail.
• HRO, *CI and HI: the outsole withstands brief contact with a hot surface at 300 °C. The sole construction also reduces the transfer of heat and cold from the surface into the shoe. The manufacturer marks the CI property with an asterisk.
• FO, SR and ESD: the outsole resists the effects of fuel oil and has passed the additional SR slip-resistance test under the current standard. The ESD construction helps discharge static electricity in a controlled manner to protect sensitive electronic components.
