Kratos Safety Kariba - portable anchorage point for wide parapets
Kratos Safety Kariba FA 60 045 00 is a temporary and transportable anchorage device designed for wide parapets, walls and suitable dam structures. Equipped with four anchorage points and integrated return pulleys, it supports façade access, rope access work, fall arrest, rescue and evacuation arrangements. Its adjustable clamping range accommodates structures from 500 to 1,035 mm thick.

Applications
The Kariba is intended for locations where a wide parapet, wall or dam provides a sufficiently strong anchorage structure. Typical applications include façade inspection and maintenance, rope access, fall arrest, rescue and evacuation operations. It is also suitable for parapets fitted with coping.
Safety and compliance
The Kariba is Category III personal protective equipment under PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. The anchorage device complies with EN 795:2012 Type B for one user and has been tested for two-person use in accordance with TS 16415:2013 Type B. The product is covered by EU type-examination certificate 2777/24937-01/E01-01.
The receiving structure must be capable of withstanding a static load of at least 14 kN in the direction of use. Suitability for the intended installation must be assessed before use. Installation, operation and periodic inspections must follow the manufacturer's instructions. Inspection is required at least every 12 months by the manufacturer or a competent person.
