The Kratos Safety ARGO FA 60 003 30 is a manually operated rescue and work winch for raising or lowering a person during rescue operations and for lifting or lowering loads. It features a 30-metre galvanised steel wire rope and an automatic braking system that locks the rope when the crank handle is released. The winch is compatible with selected Kratos Safety tripods, MultiSafeWay systems and EasySafeWay systems.

Applications

The ARGO winch is designed for raising or lowering a person during rescue operations and for handling materials in confined spaces, shafts, tanks and other locations requiring vertical access. When used for person rescue, the winch must be combined with a fall-arrest system in accordance with EN 363. The winch is not a substitute for fall-protection equipment.
