3M™ 2138 P3 R Particulate Filter for Respiratory Protection

It is suitable for working environments containing compatible dusts, mists and fumes and fits selected 3M™ reusable half and full-face respirators. Applications
The filter is suitable for tasks such as grinding, polishing, welding and other industrial work involving compatible dusts, mists or fumes. Filter selection must be based on the contaminants and concentrations present in the workplace and the compatible respirator being used.
Compatibility
The 3M™ 2138 is compatible with 3M™ 6000, 6500QL and 7500 Series reusable half-face respirators and 3M™ 6000 Series full-face respirators equipped with a compatible bayonet connection. It attaches directly to the facepiece without a separate filter retainer.
Safety and compliance
This CE-marked particulate filter meets EN 143:2000 and has a P3 R classification. Its organic vapour and acid gas feature provides nuisance odour relief only at concentrations below occupational exposure limits. It must not be treated as a substitute for a dedicated gas or vapour filter.
