CAMP Cobra 10 m – Retractable Fall Arrester (V+H)

General information

C.A.M.P. Cobra is a self-retracting fall arrester designed for personal fall protection in construction, industry and other work at height applications. The device complies with the requirements of EN 360:2002. This version is the Cobra 10 (ref. 3137) equipped with a 10 m galvanized steel cable.

Use

During use the cable automatically retracts inside the internal drum and remains constantly tensioned while the user moves. In the event of a fall, the internal locking mechanism stops the cable instantly. The internal braking system limits the arrest force and the device is equipped with an external textile energy absorber to further reduce fall forces.

Cobra V+H models are tested for horizontal use over edges according to PPE-R/11.060 Type A (edge radius 0.5 mm).

Vertical and horizontal use

• Vertical use: anchorage point located above the user.
• Horizontal use: approved for use over structural edges.
• Suitable for roofing work, construction sites, industrial structures and towers.

Inspection and service life

• The device must be inspected at least every 12 months by a competent person.
• Inspections must be recorded in the equipment life sheet.
• The product does not have a fixed maximum service life if it passes periodic inspections.
• The device must be removed from service after a fall arrest event or if any damage is detected.

Warranty

The manufacturer provides a warranty covering material and manufacturing defects for 3 years from the date of purchase.
